Spirit Animal Frog

Spirit Animal Frog

The frog has plenty of ancient mythology surrounding it and has long been associated with water and the moon; both are symbols for the emotions. It is also a symbol for eroticism, fecundity and fertility. The Hindu’s believe the Great Frog supports the Universe and represents the prima materia, which is the basis of all created matter (and manifesting; more on this later). In Ancient Greece and Rome, it was the symbol for Aphrodite and Venus. For the Celts, the frog is the Lord of the Earth and healing waters and is considered the rain bringer and renewal of life. But for my own mythology, frog has come to represent prosperity and cleansing.

Frog is the quintessential symbol for detoxifying your body, mind, and emotions; it is reminding you to clean up some area of your life. For example: take a bath, unhook from social media, meditate, do yoga, go on a juice fast or, clean up your own thoughts, which is the basis of all matter creation. The metamorphosis that a frog undergoes is akin to resurrection, and something in your life is about to go through a change. Your current environment may need purging from the people and places that no longer resonate with you. Frog can also herald a time of creative flow and abundance, and can help you with manifesting what you desire.

Manifesting is a hot topic—just take a look at all of the books, articles, social media posts or reels, as well as YouTube channels on this subject and you’ll quickly realize just how important it is; the most popular areas are: health, relationships, and money. Let’s face it, we all want to have certain things in life but we don’t always know how to get them. I’ve spent much time researching a lot of content and practicing certain methods for manifesting, and I’ve have had some pretty decent results (I manifested a car) but this manifesting thing hasn’t always been consistent. Why is that?

The key lies with your own conscious mind and it’s repetitive, looping thoughts, which, when you start observing them, are mostly on the negative side of things: worry, fear, limiting, or pessimistic thoughts. It’s as if we are all in a default negative program that is running in the background, unnoticed, until you throw a spot light on your own thoughts and, like cockroaches, they flee in a hurry. It’s these very same thoughts (and feelings) that act like a barrier to your manifesting results. Thoughts are energy and coupled with emotions, create your world.

Imagine, if you will, a forest in the winter and everything is covered in a thick blanket of snow. Notice the footprints that have made trails in the forest all going in different directions. Some of the trails are very worn and deep. These trails represent your own repeating thought patterns. Now, imagine that you decide to create a new trail (positive thought form), and another, whilst you avoid walking on the familiar trails. Eventually, the old trails get covered in snow. You’re creating new neural pathways in your brain; this is manifesting 101.

Top five ingredients for manifesting:

1) Gratitude

2) Intention

3) Visualization

4) Prayer

5) Affirmations

It isn’t easy to renew your own habitual mind; you have to be consistent, but once you get the ball rolling it gets easier. Begin with small steps and call on frog for help. Once you get a few demonstrations the motivation to continue will grow as you begin manifesting regularly—trust me! Some wonderful thought leaders that I highly recommend are, Neville Goddard, Florence Scovil Shinn, Dr. Joseph Murphy, Wallace Wattles, or Dr. Emmet Fox. In fact, Dr. Fox has created a free PDF, The Seven Day Mental Diet to help transform your mind. Check it out!

ANIMAL STATS

Most frogs are carnivorous and eat insects and worms, as well as other frogs or rodents; some species of frog are plant eaters. Frogs mainly live in water, but some live on land, in burrows, or in trees. Their eggs number from a few hundred to several thousand and attach to water plants in clusters. The tadpole hatches in a few days or weeks and then metamorphoses into a frog several months later. The smooth skin of a frog is important to their overall health, and a decline in frogs is a warning that there is a problem with an ecosystem.
