Time Traveling at Blases Tire Service Shop

The past is so alive in some buildings that I feel teleported to some other time the minute I step inside. An energetic signature of repeated thoughts and patterns seem to permeate the walls, floor and furniture, imbibing it with an essence so strong I feel I could have a conversation with the brocaded couch in the corner. It has that much (energetic) character.

Enter Blases Tire Service Shop in Berlin, NJ. I hate car maintenance. I’m not mechanically inclined and never will be, but my tires were in bad shape. After finding a flat tire on my trusty Toyota, it was discovered that the tread was wearing out unevenly, which meant that I not only needed two new front tires but also a frontend alignment. My dad recommended the mechanics at Blases.

The tire shop was a veritable 1950’s time capsule complete with a Bear Statue and wall paneling that my grandmother had in her house. As soon as I set foot inside the dusty shop, I was struck by the sensation of time slowing down, like I do when I walk through the Amish Market in Williamstown (I love their soft pretzels). At Blases, I knew that I had stepped into The Twilight Zone.

I read an article recently in Alien Digest (yes I wear a tinfoil hat), that NASA conceded that Space-Time portals are a reality. This was once considered science fiction! And then there is the Philadelphia Experiment and the Montauk Project, both secret governmental experiments used to develop psychological warfare techniques and exotic research into the mysteries of time, including time travel.

Several years ago I was experimenting with astral traveling by trying to induce an O.B.E. (out of body experience), but I chickened out after a month of trying. I was afraid that if I did get out of my body, I would be attacked by something big and nasty. I couldn’t handle that! But I did learn many fascinating things in an awesome book, Adventures Beyond the Body, by William Buhlman, which I was using to help me have an O.B.E.

William had spent twenty plus years astral traveling and recorded his findings in his excellent book. It was utterly fascinating what he found out about parallel realities! Of his many discoveries, the one that intrigued me the most pertained to the furniture in the homes that he had visited while having an O.B.E.

He noticed some strange anomalies with the furniture in his bedroom. For example, there was an antique dresser superimposed over his current but modern dresser. The antique dresser had belonged to his grandfather who used to live in the house before him. When William had moved into the house after his grandfather had died, he sold the antique dresser, yet the energetic imprint of the dresser still remained.

I feel this explains why some of us can experience certain energies about a place, like I did with Blases Tire Shop—why some buildings make us feel we are teleported to some other time. Everything resonates with a specific frequency. It’s in the furniture and walls, the land—people and animals have an energetic imprint as well. Why? Because we are all just minerals, water and consciousness—molecules flying around in the quantum fabric of a space-time construct, what we like to call reality.

And just maybe, if the stars are in alignment, my new tires will teleport me to the year 1950.
